Exam Scope

This practice exam covers the California Civil Engineering Seismic Principles exam. It is not only a simulated exam; it is also a comprehensive training resource in which every problem is explained in detail and presented after you complete your exam attempt. Upon completion of an exam, you will have access to fully worked, step-by-step solutions with proper references to the applicable codes and standards, including ASCE 7-22 and the 2025 California Building Code (CBC), as well as TMS 402/602, SDPWS 2021, and ATC-20 where applicable.

Your performance is broken down by the seismic BPELSG exam test plan content, allowing you to clearly identify strengths and weaknesses within each content area. The category results are presented upon completion of the exam.
